WINDSOR – MPP Lisa Gretzky was chosen by New Democrats in Windsor West to be the Ontario NDP candidate in the next election.

“I’m thrilled to accept this nomination and humbled by the trust that the Windsor West community has placed in me once again,” said Gretzky. “Over the past few years, I’ve been able to champion key wins for Windsor at the legislature, from standing up for Windsor Salt workers, to advocating for ambulance support across Essex County.

“With your support. I’ll keep pushing for affordable housing solutions, better access to good health care, and improved support for mental health and addictions here in Windsor and across Ontario.I’m proud to call Windsor home, and I’m proud to be your champion at Queen’s Park”.

“I'm incredibly proud to have Lisa on our team,” said Marit Stiles, Leader of the Ontario NDP. “Lisa’s a fighter, and she brings that Windsor grit to everything we do back at Queen’s Park. As a leader for our work on Intimate Partner Violence, her tenacity to make sure that this government takes the region’s issues seriously is second to none. Lisa fights for us – now let's fight to get her elected.”
